Seizing Accountability: My MADCAT and Empowerment Journey to Success
In life, every thread moment tells a story of resilience, transformation, and empowerment. My journey is no different. It began in the shadows of adversity, where personal battles with self-harm and navigating the heart-wrenching challenges of my ex-husband’s cancer diagnosis tested my spirit.
Yet, in these moments of profound struggle, the seeds of MADCAT were sown. Mindset, Accountability, Development, Coaching, Action, and Transformation led me to my life in a blended family with my ex-husband Jamie, my childhood sweetheart and finance Phil and my daughter Elle. I’m a mother, a coach, a leader, and a powerful woman, and I know how I got here.
Accountability. It’s a word that packs a punch. When I think about accountability, I’m reminded of the countless steps I’ve taken on my journey toward success, particularly with my invaluable partnership with my peers, colleagues, friends and customers that have led me to feel the empowerment I now do.
With each success came new challenges and opportunities for growth. I have appeared in global Avon films, become a Training Ambassador with Avon, and led the broadcasting for the Ride For Unity in January 2024, where I met people Like Herb Flight time Lang, former Harlem Globetrotter and then, not two weeks later, was on stage talking about accountability through my story to a 600-strong crowd!
I’ve had the privilege of inspiring and empowering others while continuing to evolve personally and professionally with the help of leaders in Avon like Becky & Jay Elloway, who invited me to speak and showed faith in me, proving that MADCAT was working and the empowerment I was feeling was only getting stronger.
One thing has remained constant throughout my journey: the power of accountability. Having a trusted partner to hold me accountable has been instrumental in my success. Whether setting goals, overcoming obstacles, or celebrating victories, having someone by my side has made all the difference. Reflecting on my journey with Avon, I’m reminded of the importance of taking ownership of our paths and embracing the power of accountability.
Each of us has our ladder to climb, filled with unique challenges and opportunities. But we can achieve extraordinary things by holding ourselves accountable and supporting each other.
